GreenLine Lawn Care
By requesting, scheduling, approving, authorizing, or receiving any service from GreenLine Lawn Care, the customer ("Customer") acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them. These Terms apply to all services provided by GreenLine Lawn Care unless a separate written agreement signed by both GreenLine Lawn Care and the Customer specifically states otherwise.
GreenLine Lawn Care provides outdoor maintenance and seasonal services, including but not limited to leaf raking and removal, snow shoveling, snow removal, salting, holiday lighting, Christmas decor, Halloween decor, and other seasonal or outdoor decoration installation and removal services.
Services are provided based on availability, weather conditions, property conditions, safety considerations, equipment availability, and GreenLine Lawn Care's operational capacity. GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee that any requested service will be available on a particular date or time unless that appointment has been specifically confirmed by GreenLine Lawn Care.
Prices displayed on the GreenLine Lawn Care website, advertisements, flyers, social media, or other materials are starting prices and are not guaranteed final prices unless specifically identified as a confirmed price.
Final pricing may depend on property size, lawn or property condition, amount of debris, terrain, obstacles, accessibility, number and type of decorations, installation height, installation difficulty, materials required, travel, time required, and other conditions discovered before or during service.
GreenLine Lawn Care reserves the right to provide a revised price before beginning work if conditions are substantially different from what was described or reasonably visible when the service was requested. GreenLine Lawn Care may decline to perform the service if the Customer does not approve the revised price.
Any price specifically agreed upon in writing between GreenLine Lawn Care and the Customer will control for that particular service, unless additional work or conditions require an additional charge that is communicated to the Customer before the additional work is performed when reasonably possible.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless another payment arrangement has been agreed to in writing before the service is performed.
GreenLine Lawn Care accepts the following payment methods: Cash, Check, Zelle, and Apple Cash.
A payment is not considered completed until the payment has actually been received and, when applicable, successfully processed or cleared. A Customer remains responsible for the full amount due if a check, electronic payment, or other payment is declined, reversed, canceled, returned, or otherwise fails to transfer the funds owed.
If payment is not received when due, GreenLine Lawn Care may suspend or refuse future services until the outstanding balance has been paid.
The Customer may not withhold, reduce, or delay payment because of unrelated complaints, disagreements, or requested services that were not included in the original service.
Customers must notify GreenLine Lawn Care at least 2 hours before the scheduled service start time to cancel or request a rescheduling without being subject to a cancellation charge.
If the Customer cancels, reschedules, or is unable to provide access to the property less than 2 hours before the scheduled service, the Customer may be charged a cancellation or trip fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.
The cancellation or trip fee applies regardless of whether the Customer personally caused the cancellation, including circumstances such as the Customer changing their mind, forgetting the appointment, failing to provide access, failing to clear the service area, or otherwise preventing the scheduled service from being completed.
GreenLine Lawn Care may waive a cancellation or trip fee at its sole discretion. Any waiver for one cancellation does not create an obligation to waive future fees.
The Customer is responsible for providing GreenLine Lawn Care with safe, timely, and unobstructed access to all areas where services are requested.
The Customer must remove or identify valuable, fragile, hazardous, or movable items that could interfere with the service. This includes toys, hoses, cords, decorations, pet waste, furniture, tools, vehicles, and other objects.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for damage resulting from hidden, concealed, unmarked, or improperly located objects, irrigation systems, landscape lighting, invisible fencing, underground utilities, cables, pipes, sprinkler heads, drains, or other property features that were not reasonably visible or disclosed to GreenLine Lawn Care before service.
The Customer is responsible for notifying GreenLine Lawn Care of any known hazards, property conditions, underground systems, fragile surfaces, or other conditions that could affect the safe completion of the service.
GreenLine Lawn Care may refuse, stop, shorten, or reschedule a service if the property or work area is considered unsafe, inaccessible, excessively hazardous, or unsuitable for the requested service.
Examples include excessive debris, dangerous animals, aggressive pets, unsafe structures, unstable surfaces, hazardous materials, excessive ice, severe weather, unsafe electrical conditions, or other circumstances that could reasonably create a risk of injury or property damage.
If GreenLine Lawn Care is unable to safely complete a service because of conditions outside of its control, the service may be rescheduled or modified. Charges may apply for work already performed or reasonable expenses already incurred.
GreenLine Lawn Care will use reasonable care when performing services. However, GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, defective materials, defective customer-provided equipment, concealed property features, or damage caused by conditions outside of GreenLine Lawn Care's reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to, lawns, landscaping, plants, trees, shrubs, driveways, sidewalks, patios, fences, roofs, gutters, siding, windows, electrical systems, irrigation systems, underground utilities, landscape lighting, decorations, extension cords, outlets, and other property.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for damage caused by items that the Customer failed to remove, identify, disclose, or properly secure before service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
GreenLine Lawn Care may delay, reschedule, modify, or cancel services due to weather or environmental conditions, including rain, snow, ice, high winds, lightning, extreme temperatures, saturated ground, unsafe surfaces, or other conditions that could make the service unsafe or likely to cause property damage.
Snow and ice services depend on snowfall timing, accumulation, temperature, freezing conditions, and the ability to safely access the property. GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee that snow or ice will remain absent after the service has been completed.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for new snowfall, refreezing, drifting snow, black ice, melting and refreezing conditions, or other weather-related conditions that occur after a snow or ice service has been completed.
GreenLine Lawn Care may provide installation, adjustment, removal, and related services for customer-provided holiday and seasonal decorations, including but not limited to Christmas lights, Christmas decorations, Halloween decorations, fall decorations, and other seasonal outdoor decor.
Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, GreenLine Lawn Care does not provide, purchase, sell, store, repair, modify, or guarantee the condition of customer-owned decorations or lighting equipment.
The Customer is responsible for providing decorations, lights, extension cords, timers, clips, hooks, mounting equipment, electrical connections, and other necessary materials unless GreenLine Lawn Care has specifically agreed in writing to provide them.
All customer-provided decorations and equipment must be in safe, usable, weather-appropriate, and working condition. GreenLine Lawn Care may refuse to install any item that appears damaged, defective, unsafe, improperly rated for outdoor use, excessively fragile, or otherwise unsuitable for installation.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for damage to customer-provided decorations or equipment resulting from pre-existing damage, age, normal wear and tear, defective materials, defective electrical components, improper design, improper manufacturing, weather, animals, wind, snow, ice, water, power outages, electrical issues, or other conditions outside of GreenLine Lawn Care's reasonable control.
GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee that installed decorations will remain in the exact position in which they were originally installed. Outdoor conditions may cause decorations, lights, cords, or other items to move, become loose, disconnect, or require adjustment.
GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee that customer-provided lights, decorations, electrical components, timers, or other equipment will function properly after installation.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that electrical outlets and connections used for decorations are safe and functional. GreenLine Lawn Care may refuse to connect decorations to an outlet or electrical system that appears unsafe or defective.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for damage caused by removing decorations that were improperly installed, attached to damaged surfaces, attached with unsuitable materials, or installed by another person or company.
Removal of seasonal or holiday decorations is a separate service unless removal is specifically included in the original written quote.
Snow shoveling and salting services are intended to remove or reduce accumulated snow and ice from the agreed-upon service areas. Because snow and ice can continue to accumulate, melt, refreeze, or be deposited after service, GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee that a surface will remain completely clear or ice-free after completion.
Salt and ice-melting products may discolor, damage, or affect certain surfaces, plants, grass, concrete, stone, metal, or other materials. GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for damage caused by the proper use of ice-melting products when such damage is outside of GreenLine Lawn Care's reasonable control.
A service is considered completed when GreenLine Lawn Care has substantially performed the agreed-upon work or has stopped work because of conditions outside of its reasonable control.
Customers are encouraged to inspect the completed service promptly. Complaints regarding workmanship should be reported to GreenLine Lawn Care within 24 hours of completion and should include a description of the concern and, when appropriate, photographs.
GreenLine Lawn Care will review legitimate service concerns and may, at its discretion, return to correct an issue that resulted directly from GreenLine Lawn Care's workmanship.
GreenLine Lawn Care will make reasonable efforts to perform services in a professional and careful manner. However, GreenLine Lawn Care does not guarantee a specific appearance, growth result, weather outcome, snow or ice condition, lighting performance, decoration position, or other result that depends on factors outside of GreenLine Lawn Care's reasonable control.
By requesting or using services, the Customer agrees that GreenLine Lawn Care may contact the Customer using the contact information provided by the Customer for service-related purposes, including appointment confirmations, scheduling information, estimates, invoices, payment reminders, delays, cancellations, weather notices, and other information directly related to the Customer's services.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and current contact information and for checking messages related to their scheduled services.
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the property, requested services, property conditions, access instructions, hazards, decorations, electrical equipment, and any other information necessary for GreenLine Lawn Care to safely and accurately perform the requested service.
GreenLine Lawn Care is not responsible for problems resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information provided by the Customer.
GreenLine Lawn Care reserves the right to refuse, suspend, modify, reschedule, or terminate a service when reasonably necessary due to safety concerns, abusive or threatening behavior, unsafe property conditions, nonpayment, lack of access, weather, equipment limitations, or other circumstances that make continued service unreasonable or unsafe.
If a service is terminated after work has begun, the Customer remains responsible for payment for work that has already been completed and for any other charges properly incurred under these Terms.
GreenLine Lawn Care is an independent service provider. Scheduling a service does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between GreenLine Lawn Care and the Customer.
GreenLine Lawn Care reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. The version of the Terms that applies to a particular service is the version provided to or made available to the Customer at the time the service is requested or scheduled, unless the Customer and GreenLine Lawn Care subsequently agree in writing to different terms.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with any written quote, estimate, invoice, or other written agreement specifically accepted by both GreenLine Lawn Care and the Customer, constitute the agreement regarding the applicable service. Statements or promises not included in the applicable written agreement are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by GreenLine Lawn Care.
By requesting, scheduling, approving, or receiving services from GreenLine Lawn Care, the Customer confirms that they have reviewed these Terms of Service, understand them, and agree to comply with them.
